About Edit Elites

What is Edit Elites?

Edit Elites is an academic editorial and publication-strategy service. We support researchers from journal targeting and structural revision through language editing, formatting, and peer-review response.

Who will edit my manuscript?

Projects are matched by subject area and editorial need. The qualifications required depend on the service: structural, journal-selection, and peer-review work receive the strongest field-specific matching.

Do you work with researchers worldwide?

Yes. The service is designed for remote collaboration with individual researchers, laboratories, departments, and institutions across time zones.

Services

Services

Which service should I choose?

Choose based on the manuscript’s current bottleneck. If the argument or structure is unclear, start with substantive editing. If the structure is stable but the language needs work, choose copyediting. Proofreading is for a near-final manuscript.

Can I combine services?

Yes. When stages are combined, we sequence them so major decisions happen before detailed polishing. The quotation separates each scope so you can see exactly what is included.

Do you provide a free sample edit?

The public samples demonstrate our editorial approach. A manuscript-specific sample may be offered when it is useful for defining a larger or specialized project.

Process & delivery

Process & delivery

How long will the work take?

Timing depends on service, length, complexity, and editor availability. Standard, express, and rush options are confirmed in the quotation before work begins.

What files will I receive?

Most editing projects include a tracked file, a clean file, and an editorial or completion note. Strategy and formatting services include the relevant report or compliance checklist.

Can I ask questions after delivery?

Yes. The applicable clarification or revision window is stated in your quotation. It covers questions about delivered work, not new material added after the agreed scope.

Pricing

Pricing

Why are most services quote-based?

Manuscript length alone does not determine editorial effort. Structure, language condition, subject complexity, file format, references, and turnaround can materially change the work required.

Which service has public pricing?

Journal Selection & Submission Strategy currently has three published plans: Essentials, Professional, and Premium. Other services receive manuscript-specific quotations.

Will work start before I approve the price?

No. An order-intent submission begins the intake process only. Scope, timing, and price are confirmed before editorial work starts.

Confidentiality & security

Confidentiality & security

Is my manuscript confidential?

Yes. Manuscript access is limited to the people needed to quote, manage, and complete the agreed work. We do not publish or reuse client manuscripts as samples without explicit permission.

Can you sign an NDA?

NDA requirements can be reviewed during intake. Institutional or sponsor-specific terms should be shared before files are transferred.

Do you use my manuscript to train AI systems?

Client manuscripts are not treated as reusable training material. Any approved tool-assisted processing must remain within the confidentiality and data-handling terms agreed for the project.
