Effective date: 15 July 2026
1. Quotations and scope
Submitting a website form is an enquiry or expression of order intent, not an automatic contract. Work begins only after Edit Elites confirms the scope, deliverables, timing, price, and any service-specific conditions, and the client accepts them.
2. Editorial nature of the service
Services improve presentation, structure, language, formatting, strategy, or response materials as stated in the accepted quotation. The author remains responsible for the research, facts, analyses, citations, permissions, ethical compliance, authorship, originality, and final submission.
3. No acceptance guarantee
Editorial support cannot guarantee journal acceptance, peer-review outcome, indexing, publication timing, academic credit, or any other decision controlled by a journal, publisher, institution, reviewer, or third party.
4. Client materials and instructions
The client confirms that they have authority to provide all materials and that the instructions do not require plagiarism, fabrication, undisclosed authorship, or other academic misconduct. Deadlines may change if files, instructions, or author responses are incomplete or delayed.
5. Revisions and new scope
Clarification and revision windows, if included, will be stated in the quotation. New text, new analysis, changed journal requirements, or expanded deliverables may require a revised price and schedule.
6. Fees, cancellation, and refunds
Payment timing, currencies, taxes, cancellation terms, and refund eligibility must be stated in the accepted quotation or invoice. Fixed prices shown for Journal Selection & Submission apply only to the listed plan scope and may exclude custom requirements.
7. Confidentiality and data
Project materials will be handled according to the applicable privacy policy and any separately accepted confidentiality agreement. The client should not send sensitive personal data unless necessary for the service.
8. Intellectual property
The client retains ownership of their manuscript and underlying research. After full payment, client-specific editorial deliverables may be used with the manuscript for their intended purpose, subject to any third-party rights and separate written terms.
9. Website content and liability
Website content is general information, not legal, research-integrity, publishing, or career advice. Liability limits, exclusions, governing law, and dispute procedures must be finalized in the legally reviewed version of these terms.
10. Contact
